Nudge

Terms of use

Last updated 14 October 2026

These are the ground rules for using Nudge. By creating an account you agree to them. Nudge is a free pilot run by an individual based in India.

What Nudge does

Nudge lets you create invoices, email them to your clients, and send automatic payment reminders. Nudge is not a bank or payment processor. It never touches your money: your client pays you directly using the details you give.

A free pilot

Nudge is free while we learn what freelancers need. There is a monthly limit on how many invoices you can create, which may change. We may change, limit or end the service, or start charging for it in future. If we start charging, it will not happen without notice to you.

Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of every invoice and for the work you bill for.
  • Only add clients you have a genuine working relationship with, and who would expect to hear from you about payment. Do not use Nudge to send spam, to harass anyone, or to send anything misleading or unlawful.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes, legal invoicing requirements (such as GST or tax ID rules) and record keeping. Nudge does not give legal, tax or accounting advice, and an invoice made here may not meet every legal requirement for your situation.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Reminders are sent in your name and on your behalf, so check the schedule and the tone you choose.

Your data

Your invoices and client details stay yours. We only use them to run Nudge for you, as described in the privacy policy. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

No guarantees

Nudge is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and emails flowing, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error free, or that every email will be delivered (emails can be delayed, filtered as spam, or bounce). Please keep your own records of anything important and follow up with clients yourself when it matters.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost income, late or missed payments, lost data, or other indirect losses that result from using Nudge. Because Nudge is free, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, which is nothing during the pilot.

Ending your use

You can stop using Nudge whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use Nudge after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions: prateek.dev.rathore@gmail.com.
