What we collect
- Your account: your email address and a password. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and are stored hashed, so we cannot read them.
- Your business details: business name, your name, default currency, reminder tone, and the payment instructions you write (for example bank or UPI details).
- Your clients: the name, email, company, phone number, billing address, tax ID and private notes you choose to save about each client.
- Your invoices: line items, amounts, dates, status, and a record of each reminder email Nudge sent for you.
- Feedback: anything you send us through the feedback form, with your account email.
- Visit statistics: basic, anonymous page-view numbers (pages viewed, country, device type, referring site). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Information about your clients
You decide which client details to enter. For that information you are the one in control, and Nudge only processes it for you: to send the invoices and reminders you ask for. Please only add people you have a real working relationship with, and make sure you are allowed to email them about the work.
How we use it
- To run Nudge: show your dashboard, create invoices, and send emails to your clients.
- To send reminders on the schedule you set, until an invoice is paid or voided.
- To fix problems and improve the product, including by reading your feedback.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Invoice links
Each sent invoice has a private link with a long random code. Anyone who has the link can see that invoice, including your payment instructions, so share it only with the client. The page asks search engines not to index it.
Who else handles your data
We use a few services to run Nudge. Each sees only what it needs:
- Supabase: database and sign-in (hosted in Mumbai, India).
- Vercel: hosting the website and running the daily reminder job, plus anonymous visit statistics.
- Resend: delivering the emails Nudge sends to your clients.
These providers may process data in other countries. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it and your choices
We keep your data while your account exists. You can edit or delete clients and invoices in the app at any time. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or have your account and everything in it deleted, email prateek.dev.rathore@gmail.com and we will do it. Email send records may remain briefly in our email provider's logs.
Security
Data is stored in a database where each account can only read its own rows, and connections use HTTPS. No online service is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise absolute security. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you.
Children
Nudge is for people aged 18 and over. It is not meant for children.
